MEASURING YOUR HORSE FOR A DUETT SADDLE:

Here are some tips to help you determine what tree size you need for your horse. (You are encouraged to call or email to discuss it with us)

First of all, it would be helpful to us if you are replacing your current saddle, to let us know what brand and size you are currently riding in, especially if it does not fit.

If it’s determined that sending a tracing will be the next step, follow the instructions for Making a Wither Tracing

MAKING A WITHER TRACING:

There are many good links on youtube demonstrating how to do a proper wither tracing. Contact us for a recommendation.

After watching a video, here is what you’ll need to do your tracing:

11 x 14 manilla folder or large sheet of paper
Sharpie marker
A flexible curve,
available at most big box office supply stores. Here is a link on Amazon.com to purchase one Click Here
The best way to get this to us is to scan the tracing into your scanner/printer and then email it:
To scan, fold the tracing in half and scan each side separately. Email as two pages in a PDF.
